I got few daays ago my box A3 with server cccam

1: if i upgrade it to 2 0 68 did i lose loose my cccam server?

2: if i upgrade the oscam to oscam 10082
wich oscam file i have to use oscam plugine or oscam new
that's wat i found Inside oscam 10082 (oscam plugin and oscam new)
3: by upgrading to oscam 82 i will not lose my cccam server

i wish you understand me cause my English is juste so

it looks to me that oscam is stable, but kind of slow...in Openbox I assume it connects with server faster and does not loose connection. I actually watching 3 providers, the one whics is kind of local has significantly less oscam glitches compared to other two, geographically further from me (more hops to server). Hence my conclusion that something is laging in Oscam just a bit, but causing annoying problems...

@mouhsh --- any of them ! are perfectly equivalent !
@Patrik --- the last image you'll take always online ! stabile or beta !
@imikulskas --- I think you right ! but this is caused by system architecture
far more complex in A3 ! complexity always have costs in performance !

... I'm testing non-public images till they meet release standards but ... for
the rest ... online is the safe way !!!

CrossEPG

CrossEPG downloader can use the following sources : XMLTV ( rytec ) ,
OpenTV , XEPGDB and a set of download scripts. This downloader can supply
standard EPG as well as media highway epg ... unfortunately none of them
works for 28e ! Media highway EPG is used by : Sky UK, C+Digital Nordic ,
D+ Spain , CSD France , CSD NL, Viasat ...

For all standard EPG you have crossepg directly ! no need to download !
not recommended ! ... for the rest you can try !

I didn't take it as oscam problem. Because even FTA channels opens longer than my VU+ box. But I have less freezes with A3(Might be that servers are more stable now).

I believe You have to use both of them. First Install oscam_NEW and then oscam EMU plugin via FTP. That's how I did.

Oscam EMU and all Oscam updates is recommended to be loaded/updated
via plugin support ! no need of FTP ! simply use installed tools ! is a good
practice ...

Yes, but how about Softcam.key file? There is a blank one inside EMU plugin file. It gets overwritten?

YES ! you can put there your SoftCam.Key !!! it's a simple way to update it
periodicaly ... you can replace the SoftCam.Key and update as plugin !

Why this specific recommendation?

I hope that in the porting has been provided for the use of external storage devices (eg. sda - sdcard) to store the dbase and the rest of the cache work for the import/export data functions !

It would be helpful to explain how they have structured menu functions and management priorities (user choice) of the various methods of data import (OpenTV, XML, Alias & Script)!

Other suggestions and requests or requirements:

1) Why removed the app channel-db, I found a very good idea to have a cloud for channel lists (personal and third) !!!

2) Insert on Spark App Store the new version of XBMC "Kodi", now we are the RC3 version and it is very stable on our arm device !!!

3) On the management function satellite list, it would be convenient to add a confirmation message before disabling one ... because this will delete all channels associated from the list !

4) In the configuration mode "Unicable setting" & "Auto Config mode" must add these frequencies (1210, 1420, 1680, 2040 MHz), otherwise the "Auto" function does not work "Failed message" with these standard unicable devices .... (only manual set mode is OK)!

The recommendation was an error ! later I found that every download is
overwriting the crossepg database ! mea culpa ...
For the moment I am just at the first contact with this subject so ... I cannot
discuss policies ... the crossepg downloader is just a simple tool ! his
development continues ... the only noticed policy is to create a download
list , adding one by one the elements , and to execute that , manually , as
a whole , in order to create the crosepg database. Probably , in the future
release , the crossepg downloader will have abilities to plan his automatic
execution ... but at the moment I've presented his actual status ! attached
screen captures show each category content ...

... the aggregate download list is created adding elements from each category



... to add an element to the aggregate download list just press GREEN
when cursor is on it ...









... once download list created ... can be executed as whole ... then
we can force the database import and reload !

for the memory sd card in real panel
is used to extend RAM or ROM
or juste externe memory for extra storage if so
A3 manage it up to 1;2;..;.32 gbit ( the maximum weight capacity micro sd i can put in rear of A3 example 1gbit or 8gb and so on

SD card is just a possible external support ! you can store there ... user
files as ... pictures , music or movies ... also in some special occasion is
used as input support for system rescue procedure !
